As the the federal government (created by the several states) continues to prove incompetent at staying within its constitutional limits, a powerful natural consequence of state nullification is emerging across these United States. Many states are now offering their people protection from unconstitutional federal laws via the Tenth Amendment on several left/right politically oriented issues. State actions range from nullifying the National ID Act, Marijuana prohibition and now the granddaddy of them all… “Obamacare”, a law that uses Federal government force against its citizens to mandate the purchase of a good.
There are efforts to “repeal and replace” Obamacare on the federal level. This “lesser of two evils” health care law compromise (offered by so called “conservatives” ) invites a continued government intrusion syndrome in our lives. We must stop this process! Anything but absolute adherence to the U.S. Constitution means we loose our freedom. It’s time to “just say no” to any and all overreaching invasions of liberty on “we the people”. Interposition/nullification is the ultimate check and balance which cuts Washington DC out of the decision making process and gives the power directly to the people of each state.
